What to consider when choosing check and menu holders

  • Height and visibility – taller holders (12"–18") work on buffets and counters; low clips suit dining tables where sightlines matter.
  • Base weight – weighted or wide bases resist tipping from fans, patio wind and busy hands.
  • Finish – stainless and chrome suit modern rooms; black and wood-look finishes blend into casual or rustic décor.
  • Menu size – match covers and protectors to your printed menu size before ordering.
  • Cleaning – vinyl protectors and metal holders wipe down between guests; paper-only menus don't.

FAQ

What is a harp-style card holder?

A wire holder shaped like a harp that grips a card at the top, keeping it upright and readable. Weighted bases stop it tipping on tables and buffets.

What size menu holder should I use on a buffet?

Taller holders in the 12"–18" range lift labels above chafers and food pans. On dining tables, shorter holders or clips keep sightlines clear.

Are guest check holders sold individually?

Some are single units and some come in multi-packs, such as 12-packs. Check the pack quantity in the product title.
